It's odd that a pen company based in the French Alps should come up with an ink bottle that is so squat; it's shape is practical (unlikely to be knocked over) but you might expect something taller and more inspirational. The ink inside is perfectly good quality and of course recommended for all Dupont pens. The purple is a nice option if you're looking for a different colour. The bottle comes with 50ml of ink.
