Lamy Bottled Ink

There's one thing that you can always rely on Lamy to do and that is to be different from most other suppliers. We love them, not just for the quality of their German manufacture but also for their investment in design. This ink bottle is a good example of that. It's immediately distinctive but also practical with its interior ink well and wide base (to prevent it being knocked over too easily). Strong even colours supplied in a 50ml bottle.

A generously sized cartridge, filled with good quality ink, it's a shame that these refills only fit Lamy's own pens. There's also a fair choice of colours including the purple that's a popular choice of our customers.

Lamy Ink Convertors

Z24: This handy pump filling mechanism converts a Lamy ink cartridge pen into a pen that can be filled with fountain pen ink. Most of the Lamy fountain pens (but not the popular Safari or Joy ranges) are sold with this filler included but it is now available to be bought separately. The convertor is suitable for Safari, Vista, Joy and Al Star fountain pens and is sold in singles.
Z26: Also a pump mechanism, this convertor uses a piston to fill the ink chamber and is suitable for the Lamy Logo, Alu, Linea, Studio, Lady, Persona, ST and CP1 ink cartridge pens. Insert this into a pen so it can be filled with fountain pen ink from any company. The convertor is sold in singles.

This is the standard ball pen refill for Lamy ball pens (including the Safari range). It has a good capacity and we find the refill will often last for over three months (often six). The refill is sold in singles and is available in three different line widths so there's plenty of choice.

This is the mini ball pen refill for all Lamy twin and trio pens. The same size often fits other manufacturer's speciality pens too, like the Filofax new mini ballpen range. It also has the advantage, unlike other mini refills, of writing a medium line width (most other manufacturers are fine width). Even a company as good as Lamy can have a dud refill and we think this is wrongly described as a highlighting refill when on the paper it barely looks flourescent. This is a refill for all Lamy tri pens. Beware - although these refills look similar to the mini ball pen refills above they are not the same and can not be substituted for one another. The refill is sold in singles. There is only one width of refill available.

This refill doesn't write but, with its plastic tip, has been designed for use on PDA touch screens (and mobile phones too). This refill is sold in singles and should last for many years!
