It might be the combination of soft-touch rubber and the sharp steel intersecting lines but it has a look all of it's own. The barrel and cap are made of a black rubber-like surface with diamond cut lines and highly polished platinum-plated fittings. The famous Montblanc white star on the top of the cap appears to float in its dome of clear acrylic. The fibretip pen takes the standard Montblanc fibretip refill (one supplied). The pen will also take the standard Montblanc rollerball refill and is presented in a Montblanc gift box.
