Alongside Cartier, this is some of our most expensive bottle of ink. Montegrappa are not generous with the amount either as it comes with 8ml less than most other manufacturers. What you do get though is an impressive ink bottle based on the old fashioned ink wells and ink of a consistently good quality that is resistant to fading. The depth of glass on the base has a satisfyingly chunky look and feel to it.
The bottles come with 42ml of ink in them.

Packed in a box of eight cartridges, these will fit the following Montegrappa fountain pens - Reminiscence, Privilege, Miya, Symphony, Micra and Ferrari. Montegrappa say that the ink in the cartridges is "deep, vivid, mineral-based, long lasting and resistant to fading" and we wouldn't disagree. The cartridges are the standard international size and will fit many other makes of fountain pen.

The ink in the refill is packed under pressure to make the most of the refill's capacity - we find that you will get approximately three to six months of normal use from the refill.
