The subject of much controversy in the world of ink refills as arguments have raged for a long time as to whether the Ingredient X that Parker have added to this ink is good or bad for other makes of fountain pen. Parker insist that their Quink is less likely to clog than others while some say that the ink has a corrosive effect on the rubber seals that you find inside most pen nib units. We don't know the truth. We just find the ink colours insipid and limited in colour choice.The bottles come with 57ml of ink in them (7ml more than most manufacturers).

Screw Mechanism: (currently out of stock-sorry!)This handy screw filling mechanism converts a Parker ink cartridge pen into a pen that can be filled with fountain pen ink. The screw mechanism moves a piston up and down the see-through barrel to create a vacuum and fill neatly. Most of the Parker fountain pens are sold with this filler included. It will fit most of the Parker fountain pens that take cartridges (45, 61, 65, 75, Sonnet and modern Duofold pen ranges). The convertor is sold in singles.
Pump Mechanism:If you prefer to pump rather than screw (ooh matron) then this handy mechanism converts a Parker ink cartridge pen into a pen that can be filled with fountain pen ink. Note that, due to a barrel width restriction, the Vector, Reflex and Jotter pens will only take this pump filler. The convertor is sold in singles.

One of the better refills that Parker make (and much copied elsewhere in the world) this refill has been packed with ink under pressure to give an outstanding refill life; we find that it will last between three to six months on average use and sometimes even longer. This is one of those refills that writes smoother and more easily the longer you use it. Beware of blotching in the broad refill.

Parker Gel Ball Pen Refill - Single Pack

This is the gel ink refill that Parker have created to fit in their Parker ball pens. The gel ink is wetter than a conventional ball pen refill and writes more smoothly on paper. The gel also provides a stronger colour of ink; look at the difference between the black gel finish and the black ball pen finish if you need convincing. What a shame they discontinued the purple in this range! The gel inks are sold as singles and we find they will last approximately one month with average use.

The gel ink is wetter than a conventional ball pen refill and writes more smoothly on paper. This is the only refill that will fit a Parker rollerball so any comments on its quality are fairly nebulous but it has to be said that this is the refill that we get the most complaints about. A lot of our customers find the refill life disappointing (about two weeks of normal use) but there seems to be a more worrying tendency in the refill to stutter and blotch. Our advice if you're unhappy with your Parker rollerball refills is to change your pen and not your refill!

Twice of something is normally a good thing but if you look at our comments on the quality of this refill above then you might think twice. This is the standard rollerball refill for all Parker rollerballs. The wet ink refill writes smoother than a ball pen producing a 0.7mm line that looks as if it has been written by a fountain pen. The price for such smoothness is an average life of two or three weeks with normal use.

These 6mm diameter E16 erasers are suitable for many Parker pencils including the classic Sonnet and Insignia ranges. The erasers are packed in fours and come in a handy plastic box. After the negative comments that we've felt obliged to make on the Parker refills above it comes as a relief to say that these erasers work fine.
