Sheaffer have put some thought into this newly designed ink bottle. As well as the handy well within the bottle the shape of the glass bottle itself, with it's wide base, makes it very difficult to knock over. Not the cheapest bottled ink on the market but the quality of the Sheaffer ink is generally good and three cheers for a company that provides a good choice of colours too. The bottles come with 50ml of ink in them.

It's a shame that these cartridges are unique to Sheaffer fountain pens only because there's an excellent choice of colours and the quality is good too. The cartridge is dropped into the Sheaffer pen barrel and is punctured on to the nib unit when you screw the barrel back on - an unusual method but effective. These are supplied in boxes of five cartridges.

Slimline Pump Mechanism: If your Shaeffer pen is a Lady Targa slimpen then this slimline convertor is for you. This is the only pen it will fit. They are available as singles.
Classic Pump Mechanism: This is the squeeze filling mechanism that converts a Sheaffer Classic ink cartridge pen into a pen that can be filled with fountain pen ink. Most of the Sheaffer fountain pens are sold with a convertor included but this old-fashioned type will only fit the old Legacy style pens and is now available to be bought separately. These convertors are sold in singles.
Piston Screw Mechanism: This Piston convertor is likely to be the one you require if your Shaeffer pen is not vintage as it fits most of the current styles (Prelude/Legacy/Agio/Valor/Javelin/Stars of Egypt/Calligraphy). It has a screw system and is available as a single unit.

This is the standard ball pen refill for all Sheaffer ball pens. It's a perfectly good refill and has a standard ball pen life of about three months of normal use. The refills are sold in singles and are available in different line widths and colours. Shame there's no broad width available.

Sheaffer Classic Rollerball Refill - Single Pack

This chunky rollerball refill fits only selected Sheaffer rollerballs. The wet ink refill writes smoother than a ball pen producing a line that looks as if it has been written by a fountain pen. The price for such smoothness is an average life of two or three weeks with normal use. The refill is sold in singles and is available in two different colours. There is only one width of refill available.

This is the slimline rollerball refill that fits most Sheaffer rollerballs and a lot of other pens as well. We find that this refill works reasonably well but beware that with average use the refill will last for approximately two weeks (like most other manufacturer's rollerball refills). The refill is sold in singles and is available in three different colours. There is only one width of refill available - fine.
